The Diploma in IT (Networking) is the most significant course we offer in the area of networking. It is recognised by many universities for credit against an IT degree and provides students with challenging practical exercises as well as a sound technical base for their careers. The course may take 4 semesters full time study and up to seven semesters in part time mode This course is for the dedicated student only and requires a suitability interview prior to enrolling.

Learn how to design Wide area network topologies. Learn how to configure routers and firewalls. Lean about VLANs, VPNs and certifcate services and much more.

TAFE Fee for 2011*:  $697.00AU per semester

Equipment needed:  USB drive (64Mb or greater)

If studying from home: A computer running Windows XP, Vista (32 bit) or Windows 7 (32bit), Microsoft office 2003, Broadband Internet connection (minimum 1024Kb download speed) and Printer.
