Lachlan IT Online is the name given to the distance and flexible delivery courses offered by the Information Technology section at Parkes Campus, Western Institute of TAFE. Parkes Campus IT section has been specializing in Flexible delivery for 10 years. We offer a wide range of networking, web design and general IT courses to students from across the state of NSW.
This website was originally scoped and visioned by David Lee (Certificate IV Website Design Student) as his final project. Since then it has been modified and expanded by Neil Kingham (IT Staff). The Audio track used in our podcasts is "Beloved-Freitas" by DeDios music and is freeware with acknowledgement.
There have been many kind comments about the site. Thank you. The copyright of the site and its contents is held by TAFE NSW. The content found on this site is a combination of work produced by Parkes based Western Institute staff (Neil Kingham) with the original toolboxes supplied by the TAFE NSW Online Project. Reviews, modifications and updates to the toolboxes are ongoing and are being completed by our local staff (Neil Kingham, Sue Ranger PT and Liz Naveau PT). Lachlan IT Online is an ever changing project and we hope it has value to users of this site.
I must state that it is the policy of TAFE NSW that none of the material found on this site may be licensed to be used by any other organisation. It is here primarily as a service to TAFE NSW students - in particular students of the Lachlan IT Online Project.
Parkes Campus
Lachlan IT Online resources are located at the Western Institute of TAFE NSW Parkes Campus.
Although you may complete the majority of your flexible learning course at home, the campus has an extensive computer lab that is available at various class times throughout the week. You may also be required to visit Parkes Campus during your course for module workshops and tutorials, depending upon your course.
If you have a course-related query that you need to discuss, teachers are also available for telephone contact during class times.
The computer lab is equipped for all the courses that Lachlan IT Online offers with a range of internet accessible servers, routers and workstations.

Roxanne Streatfeild , Head teacher of the Information Technology section at Orange, Parkes and Broken Hill Campus's.
Neil Kingham, is a part time teacher at Parkes Campus who specialises in networking and website design.
Paul Kellahan , Part Time teacher Information Technology . Paul specialises in networking.
Jennifer Kingham , Head teacher of the Business and Arts sections at Parkes Campus. Jennifer works in a wide range of areas from database design through to project management.
