Mission
Statement
The mission of the WIT-SIMIT company is the provision of Information
Technology Consultancy and related support services to its virtual
clients through our virtual office environment. Our primary business is the
supply of high-quality technical advice on call to our clients, supported by
the ability to implement practical solutions in a simulated test environment
allowing our virtual clients the ability to view working models of proposed
systems.
It is essential in the provision of these
services that our end product advice and simulated environments be of the
highest quality and integrity. In addition to these qualities all work
completed by our employees must be produced in a timely fashion
Company Background
Our clients are members of the business community who are constantly
looking for ways to improve their customer service through the adoption of
new technologies. In particular, we provide advice on networking
technologies, products and their suitability for a given situation. In addition
to that advice, we are able to produce small working models of such systems for
clients to examine prior to the full scale implementation in their company.
The company was started in 1998 as part of thes
flexible IT teaching program of Parkes Campus. It has provided near endless
case studies, assignments and headaches for our students. It has also been
successful in keeping our teachers off the streets at nights.
It has also provided students with some of the
challenges of working in the real IT workplace. Life was not meant to be simple
and we try to help students learn that fact in a controlled environment.
